Day 142 - The finish

Well after 142 days immersed in this incredible experience I finished at Bliff yesterday!
A full blog of the last day and some thoughts about the experience overall will follow but I thought I’d share some photos now.

Congratulations on finishing John. What a huge achievement! We’ve really enjoyed following your journey through your blog and we’re not surprised by your perseverance through all the challenges you’ve faced along the way. Time now for some rest rehab and recreation with Marie and the family. Enjoy that comfortable bed , cold beer and great food and we‘ll look forward to a catch up sometime soon. cheers,

Congrats John, we are so pleased for you. We have really enjoyed the journey with you and Marie without having the cuts, scratches and sandflies. You have shown us parts of our country we would never see otherwise. We too marvel at the beautiful country we live in . Along with the girls and their families we admire your perserverance, tenacity and courage and letting us know when things went wrong you just retraced and carried on. Great motivation.
